The head of the 9-11 Commission, former New Jersey governor Tom Kean is endorsing Arizona Senator John McCain for president.  Kean spent two years investigating the events of September 11, 2001, including the problems with New York City’s response, which occurred while Rudy Giuliani was mayor.  At the same time, members of a group called 9-11 Firefighters And Families arrived in New Hampshire to campaign against Giuliani.  Sally Regenhard, whose son was a firefighter killed at the World Trade Center: "We want people to know the truth about Rudy Giuliani running for president as a false hero."

GOP presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani is refusing to comment on allegations that executives from News Corp., the parent company of “FOX NEWS”  (headed by Giuliani supporter Roger Ailes), pressured Bernard Kerik’s mistress to lie to federal investigators conducting a background check on Bernard Kerik after he was nominated to be the Secretary of Homeland Security. Kerik’s nomination was promoted by Giuliani, who had made Kerik the Police Commissioner of New York City while Giuliani was mayor.  Judith Regan claims she was told to lie about her affair with Kerik to protect Giuliani’s presidential campaign.

Former New York City Police Commissioner Bernie Kerik was indicted on 14 counts including conspiracy, fraud, tax evasion, obstructing an FBI investigation and lying to the government.  Kerik is a former aide to GOP presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani.  The two were also business partners and Giuliani had pushed President Bush to name Kerik as Secretary of Homeland Security.

Pat Robertson Endorses Giuliani

Christian Coalition founder Pat Robertson has endorsed former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani’s campaign for president. Giuliani welcomed the endorsement.  "Pat, after all, was a candidate for president of the United States. He has support all over the country. He is obviously very well known among Christian conservatives and people that are considered social conservatives," Giuliani told Radio Iowa. "...His advice and his support means a great deal."  Robertson came in second in the 1988 Iowa Caucuses, and is famous for calling for the assassination of the Venezuelan president, saying Israel Prime Minister Ariel Sharon suffered a stroke for withdrawing Israeli troops from Gaza, and agreeing with Rev. Jerry Falwell’s comments blaming the September 11th attacks on their political enemies:

JERRY FALWELL: And, I know that I'll hear from them for this. But, throwing God out successfully with the help of the federal court system, throwing God out of the public square, out of the schools. The abortionists have got to bear some burden for this because God will not be mocked. And when we destroy 40 million little innocent babies, we make God mad. I really believe that the pagans, and the abortionists, and the feminists, and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People For the American Way, all of them who have tried to secularize America. I point the finger in their face and say 'you helped this happen'.

PAT ROBERTSON: Well, I totally concur, and the problem is we have adopted that agenda at the highest levels of our government. And so we're responsible as a free society for what the top people do. And, the top people, of course, is the court system.

JERRY FALWELL: Amen.
